Aon Scála – Traditional Irish Music Ensemble

Sandford’s debut Traditional Irish Music ensemble ‘Aon Scála’ is a collection of students from first to transition year who are passionate about playing Irish music. This weekend the group played brilliantly together at the Wesley Interschools Music Festival performing a wide range of Irish dance tunes including Jigs, Marches, Reels and Slow Airs. The ensemble enjoys rehearsing together every Friday morning before school. Their stellar performance at the music festival was a delightful showcase of their musical talents and love of Irish traditional music.
