School Self-Evaluation

School Self-Evaluation is a collaborative, inclusive and reflective process of internal school review. An evidence-based approach, it involves gathering information from a range of sources, and then making judgements. Its aim is to bring about improvements in students’ learning, experiences and outcomes.

‘Why’ of SSE?

To bring about improvements in specific areas in our school for the benefit of our students’ learning, experiences and outcomes.

‘What’ of SSE?

Collaborative, evidence-informed internal review of current school practices; the identification of strengths to build on and of areas for improvement; the setting of effective targets; and the effective implementation and monitoring of a plan to achieve those targets.
