The annual Sandford Park School TY Market Day was held on Friday 12th December. Market Day is an opportunity for Transition Year students who have participated in the Student Enterprise Programme to showcase their products, and hard work over the previous months! Some of their business ideas include homemade hot sauce, pencil toppers, school uniform skorts, keychains, posters and much more! It was a great day, with TYs really enjoying their first experience at entrepreneurial success. The proximity of the Market Day to Christmas really encouraged students and staff to purchase plenty of products on the day, with some groups even selling out of all their stock!
