We were delighted to welcome 6th class pupils from our feeder primary schools for ‘Oklahoma Scenes’, a behind the scenes look at how a school musical is brought to life. Students explored the many elements involved in a live production, including acting, music, directing, set design and technical production. They enjoyed watching selected scenes from ‘Oklahoma’, and learning about the teamwork required both on stage and behind the scenes. The event offered an engaging introduction to musical theatre and gave visiting students an exciting insight into the creative life of our school! The musical will run from 3rd – 6th February (next week). Some tickets are still available for purchase from our school website.
