Massive congratulations to Charlotte Foley (5CS) and Grace Guinan (5JK) who came 2nd and 3rd place respectively in the Secondary Schools category of the Green-Schools National Marine Creative Writing Competition 2026. This was a national competition, with entries from schools all around the country, and to have two winners in Sandford Park is a great achievement for Charlotte and Grace, and for the school. The theme this year was ‘A Message from the Waves’. Charlotte’s entry was a beautiful poem called ‘Blue, while Grace’s entry was a fabulous short story called ‘The Shell Collectors’. Congratulations to our two winners!
