For the first time, two teams representing Sandford are through to the Junk Kouture National Finals. This is a sustainable fashion competition challenging young people to design, upcycle and create high end kouture.

Well done to Form 5 students, Ruby Kenny/Henry Henchion on the success of their entry ’Catching Colours’ , to Form 2 student, Danielle Carolan for her entry ‘Swan Song’ and to their teacher, Ms Beegan.

Congratulations to Ethan Bai (1MS), who achieved 1st place in the Piano Under 16 category and 3rd place in the Strings Under 14 category at this year’s Newpark Festival.

Well done also to Yihan Jasmine Chen (2NW), who was highly commended in the Junior Piano Sonata Cup.
