On Monday, 23rd March, some of our 5th year students had the opportunity to meet Olivier Norek, the French author of Winter Warriors, at the Alliance Française. They are currently studying this novel in class. During the visit, Monsieur Norek answered the students’ questions about the writing process and the story itself. The students were also particularly interested in his former profession, as he previously worked as a police chief. To make the occasion even more special, he also took the time to sign the students’ copies of his novel. His insights into both writing and his past career made the experience especially engaging and memorable for everyone involved.
