As part of Law Day on the 15th of October, a French event was organised in collaboration with the Cultural Services of the French Embassy and Sandford Park School. The guest speaker, Maxime Millon, delivered an engaging and informative presentation to Option Français students, as well as to some Form 5 and Form 6 students. His talk focussed on the legal framework of democracies, the separation and sharing of powers, the importance of laws and freedom of speech. He also addressed current affairs and drew parallels between France and Ireland.
